Report Title Options
In most places where you can enter a report title, you can use the following embedded fields to insert the name and other information for the current individual or marriage. (General purpose reports such as To Do Items, Event Reports, File Ids etc. have report titles but since they are not about people these fields will not work for those report titles.) For example, on a Family Group Record if you changed the title to [CoupleNames] it would print the names of the husband and wife as the title of the report such as Albert Berdan and Susannah Secord. You can embed the fields in other text if desired: The Marriage of [CoupleNames] would become The Marriage of Albert Berdan and Susannah Secord. You can embed multiple fields in the title. For example, Family Group Record for: [CR][HusbFullname]-[HusbRIN] [CR]and [CR][WifeFullname]-[WifeRIN] would print:
Family Group Record for:
Albert Berdan-726
and
Susannah Secord-277

If you want to include something on the first page header, but don't want it to appear in the Table of Contents, you can surround that portion of the title is double curly braces. For example, if you want the title on the first page to include the generation number, but you don't want the generation number to be included in the Table of Contents entry, surround the generation number portion with the double curly braces like this:
Descendants of [FullName] {{ - Generation: [GenNumber]}}
If the title resulted in Descendants of Asa Clark Brown {{ - Generation: 1}}, only Descendants of Asa Clark Brown would appear in the Table of Contents (the opening and closing double curly braces and everything between them would be removed) and Descendants of Asa Clark Brown - Generation 1 would appear on the first page header (the opening and closing double curly braces would be removed but everything between them would be kept).
