Event Options
The Event Options screen is reached by clicking the Event Options button on various Report Options screens.
The Event Options screen lets you control what is included when an event is added to a report.
At the end of each event that was shared with others:
Include a list of the people who the event was shared with - When events are shared with other people, you can include who else the event was shared with
Include the Role each person played in the event - Adds the role each of the people played in the event shared from someone else.
In individual or marriage event sections:
Include events they shared from another person or marriage - You can choose to include events that have been shared from another person.
At the end of each shared event:
Include the name of the person or couple who shared the event - Include the name of the person who shared the event with the current person.
Include the names of any other people who the event was shared with - Include all the names of people who share the event.
Include the Role each of the other people played in the event - Includes the roles they played, if desired.
Add a carriage return before adding the information above to the end of the event sentence - Moves to a new line before adding any shared event information.
Other Options
Add Event Notes - Adds any notes from the original event. This means that if the event was originally defined by the current person, these are the notes attached to that event (if any). If the event was defined by someone else and then shared with the current person, again, these are the notes attached to the original event.
Add Shared Event Notes - If the event was defined by someone else and then shared with the current person, these are the notes that were added to the sharing of the event. For example, if a person had a Baptism event and then that event was shared with another person who was a Witness to the baptism, the witness can have a note attached. This is considered a Shared Event Note.
Note: In order for the notes for an event to be included on a report, this option must be selected as well as the option to Add the event notes to the sentence on the Add or Edit an Event screen. (See Add or Edit an Event.)
Add Event Pictures - Adds the preferred picture (if any) attached to the original event.
Add Shared Event Pictures - Adds the preferred picture (if any) attached to the shared event... for example, to the witness of the original event.
Add Event Addresses - Adds the address information (if any) from the original event.
