Edit Tab on the Ribbon Bar


Below is a description of all the groups and tools on the Edit tab of the Ribbon Bar:



Edit Group
Edit Husband
Opens the Information screen for the current husband.

Edit Wife
Opens the Information screen for the current wife.

Edit Marriage
Opens the Marriage Information screen for the current couple.

Child Settings
Opens the Children List for the current couple.


Delete Group
Husband
Deletes the current husband-after confirmation from the user.

Wife
Deletes the current wife-after confirmation from the user.

Child
Opens the Children List for the current couple where you can then delete any of the children of the current couple - after confirmation.

Unlink Group
Unlink Husband
Displays a submenu where you can choose to Unlink Husband from Wife or Unlink Husband from Parents. 

Unlink Wife
Displays a submenu where you can choose to Unlink Wife from Husband or Unlink Wife from Parents. 

Unlink Child
Opens the Children List for the current couple where you can then unlink any of the children of the current couple - after confirmation.

Other Group
Swap Husband and Wife
Swaps the position of the husband and wife and changes the gender setting for both individuals.  If either the husband or the wife is linked to another spouse, the swapping of the two is not allowed.

Exit Group
Exit Legacy
Closes the any family files you have open and then exits and closes Legacy.  If you are using the reminder option to make a backup of your family file(s) when exiting the program, you will be prompted to do so.  See Backup a Family File.
