Family Group Records
A Family Group Record shows information on one family, listing a father and mother and each of their children.

To print a Family Group Record:
1. Choose Family Group from the Reports tab on the Ribbon bar.
2. Set the options, as described below.
3. Click either Print or Preview to view the report.
Options
Title
The default title is Family Group Record. If you would like something different, you can edit the title. You can also embed replaceable fields within the title text. For example, "Report for [name]". The [name] field will be replaced with the person's name when the report is generated. See Report Title Options for a complete list of fields available.
Husband and Wife Subtitles
When generating the report you can:
Use 'Husband' and 'Wife' as titles-Use the term 'Husband' and 'Wife' as titles on the Family Group Record.
Use the default titles of: Husband, Wife, Male, Female-If the Family Group Record consists of a couple, use "Husband" and "Wife" titles. If the report is for a single man or woman, use "Male" and "Female."
Use the phrases from the Marriage Records-When printing the report, use any special terms that were entered on the Marriage Information screen for the couple.
Blank Information
If you would like to have small field names, such as Name, Date, and Place, printed at the beginning of blank fields, select this option. This makes it easier for other people to understand what kind of information is missing.
Include Chronology Pages
Includes a Chronology report for the people included on the Family Group Record report. You can choose to produce a Chronology report for the Husband and Wife and/or all the Children. To set the options for the Chronology Report, click Chronology Options. (See Chronology Report for more information.)
Placement of Notes
By default Legacy places the various notes inline in the appropriate places in the report. If you would like to have all the notes labeled and placed at the end of the report instead, select the If including Notes, put them at the end of the report option.

Click the Index Options button to make changes in the index format. (See Index Options for more information.)
