Edit Tab (on the Name List or Search List)

The Edit tab is part of the Name List, which can be reached by clicking the Name List   icon button on the View tab or My Toolbar tab of the ribbon bar.

The Edit area can be used to add or edit information on the currently highlighted person in the Name List.  Just type in the information.  It is automatically saved whenever you leave the field, change tabs or close the Name List.  Using this window is the same as using the regular Information screen in Legacy.  (See Information Screen for detailed information.) 

Special Features
Legacy lets you search and link to people on the FamilySearch.org site and the FindAGrave.com site.  You can track the links by entering the FamilySearch ID number and/or the FindAGrave Memorial number into the appropriate fields beneath the vital information fields.  When a number is entered into either of these two fields, clicking on the field labels will take you to that person or memorial on the corresponding website.  If there is no number in the FindAGrave (FG#) field, clicking the label will do a search of the FindAGrave.com site to see if a match can be found.
