Changing Master Repositories

Addresses in the Master Repository List can be connected to many sources, citations and To-Do items throughout your Family File. Making a change to a master repository changes the address for each place it is used. You now have three choices:

1. Go ahead and make the change to the master repository, realizing that all references to it will reflect the change.
2. Create a copy of the master repository, applying the changes to it, thus creating a new master repository that just this item points to.
3. Click Cancel to abandon the changes you have made.

This screen is shown when you are making a change to an existing master event address by clicking Save from the Repository edit screen.
The Master Event Address List can be displayed by clicking the Master Lists button on the View tab of the Ribbon bar, and then choosing Address Lists and then Repository.
