Calendar List Report Options
The Calendar List report prints vertical calendar pages containing either birth dates or anniversary dates.
The Calendar List Options screen can be reached by choosing Other Reports from the Reports tab on the Ribbon bar and then choosing Calendar List from the dropdown list.
The following options are available:
Include Tab
Records to Include
Only Living Individuals
Includes only people who are marked as still being alive. (This marking is done on the Information window.)
All Individuals, Living or Dead
Includes all individuals, whether living or dead. If your Family File is large, this can result in large calendars.
Only Dead Individual
Includes only people who are marked as not living. . (This marking is done on the Information window.)
Only Tagged Living Individuals
Includes only people who are alive and who have a given tag level set. (See Tagging Records for more information on how to use the different tag levels.)
All Tagged Individuals, Living or Dead
Includes anyone in the Family File, whether living or dead, who has a given tag level set.
Only Tagged Dead Individuals
Includes only people who are marked as dead and who have a given tag level set.
Include RIN & MRIN Numbers
Check this option if you want to have the individual and marriage record ID numbers included on the calendar.
Include Vertical Lines
This option causes vertical column separator lines to be printed on the calendar.
Skip Blank Calendar Lines
This option causes the calendar to be printed without the days that have nothing in them.
Skip Blank Calendar Months
This option causes the calendar to be printed without the months that have nothing in them.
Options Tab
Name Format
You can have the names on the calendar printed as either Surname, Given name(s) or Given name(s) Surname. Select the appropriate option button. You can also choose to have the married names for individuals shown on the calendar instead of their birth names. (See Married Names on the Marriage Information screen.)
Type of Calendar
Birthdays
When printing a birthday calendar, you can choose to include the birth date, birth place and age. The ages can be calculated and shown for either the Death Year Age or the Current Year Age.
Anniversaries
When printing an anniversary calendar, you can choose to include married names, marriage date, marriage place, and how many years they have been married. The anniversary numbers can be calculated At end of marriage or death of first spouse, At end of marriage or year of calendar, or As of the year of the calendar. You can also choose to Skip divorced couples.
Report Language
You can choose from different languages when generating the Calendar report. To select a language, click the Report Language button and choose the language file to be used when generating the report. There are many language files available. To reset the language selection back to the default value, click the Reset button.
Note: All the program-produced titles and subtitles and labels and all the dates will be translated but items such as user-enter titles and location won't be translated.
Months Tab
Months to Print
Place a check mark in the boxes for which you would like to print a calendar. You can clear all the check marks by clicking the Clear All button. You can select all the months by clicking Select All.
Change Fonts
Click the Change Fonts button to select a different font or font size for the report. See Report Fonts for more information.
Page Setup
Click the Page Setup button to change page margins, print orientation, paper size, heading and page numbering options, and footer options. See Page Setup for more information.
Year of Calendar
Select the year you would like to print the calendar for.
Where to Send the Report
The report can be output to two formats. Make your choice by clicking on the appropriate option button in the lower right. The choices are:
Screen / Printer - Sends the report to either the Print Preview window or directly to your printer depending on whether you click the Preview or Print button.
PDF File - Generates the report, displays it in the Print Preview window and then creates an Adobe PDF (Portable Document File) file. This file can be viewed with the free Adobe Acrobat Reader and easily sent to other people by e-mail. (This feature is part of the Deluxe Edition only.)
Printing
When you have set all the options, click either the Preview button to see an on-screen view of the report before it is actually printed, or click Print to have the report sent directly to the printer.
Note: The report settings for the Calendar List report are saved in a file called Calendar.usr in the [My Documents]\Legacy Family Tree\_AppData\Usr\ folder.
