Händelse/Fakta - Lägg till eller redigera

Fönstret Lägg till/redigera händelse  når du genom att klicka på Lägg till i  fönstret Händelselista som du når genom att klicka   på höger sida av valfritt händelsenamn eller genom att göra menyval Visa->Baslistor->Händelsebeskrivning i verktygsfältet.

Använd fönstret Lägg till/Redigera händelsedefinition  för att lägga till en ny typ av händelsedefinition eller redigera en redan befintlig som du vill inkludera i personliga eller relationrelaterade händelser. 

Att definiera en händelse innebär att du ger den ett namn, anger vilka informationsfält som du vill använda och definierar meningen som ska byggas för den i rapporter. Legacy kommer med många färdiga händelstyper som du kan studera och använda.

Definiera en ny händelsetyp

För att definiera en ny händelsetyp går du tillväga på följande sätt:

1. Skriv in namnet på händelsen. Detta namn visas i Händelselistan och i händelsefönster och rapporter.

2. Markera de ytterligare fält som du vill inkludera i händelsen genom att markera berörd(a) ruta(-or). Välj fält som kan innehålla Beskrivning/Datum/Ort. De flesta händelser som finns innehåller alla dessa tre fält. Beskrivningsfältet kan t.ex. innehålla namnet på en anställning/yrke eller namnet på en skola för en viss utbildning. Datumfältet kan innehålla ett visst datum eller en viss tidsperiod. Ortsfältet visar namnet på platsen där händelsen inträffade.

3. Om händelsen är av privat natur som du normalt inte vill ha med/visa i rapporter och på webbsidor så markerar du  rutan Privat händelse. 

4. If this is an event that might fall outside the normal lifespan of an individual, such as Alt. Birth or Probate or Obituary, mark the Exclude from Potential Problems report option.

5. Fill in the event sentence.  This sentence, when processed, results in the wording that will appear on reports.  The sentence can contain [fields] and <conditional formulas>.  These are all explained in Creating Event Sentences.  A preview of the sentence with some sample data will appear in the Sample Sentence Preview window as you edit it.  See Sample Sentence Preview below.

6. Define the Roles associated with this event.  (See Defining Event Roles for more information.)

7. Klicka på Spara.

Konfidentiell händelse

En del händelser kan vara privata till sin utformning och du vill kanske inte att de skall ingå i rapporter eller hemsidor eller exporteras. Du kan märka händelser som Privata händelser, vilket innebär att du för varje enskild händelse måste ange om den ska inkluderas i rapporter, exporteras eller visas på hemsidor.

När en huvudhändelse är märkt som Privat händelse kopplas till en person så kommer händelsen inte att markeras som Privat händelse för denna person. Om du vill få med privata huvudhändelser i rapporter etc måste du markera alternativet Inkludera Händelser märkta som privata. Om du enbart markerar Ta med Händelser märkta som Konfidentiella  så kommer händelsen INTE att tas med för aktuell person.

Vilka [Fält] är tillgängliga?

Legacy offers a large list of [fields] that can be inserted into your event sentences.  These include many variations on names, dates, places, descriptions, and many more.  Below the event sentence field is a combo box containing a list of all the available fields and how they work.  You can insert any field into your sentence at the current cursor position by opening the list, clicking on the one you want, and then clicking the Insert button to the right of the list.

Exkludera från problemrapporten

En del händelser händer inte normalt sett i en persons liv som Kremering. Dessa händelser skapar en varning i Möjliga problemlistan eftersom de inträffar efter dödsdatum. Dessa kan du utesluta från att visas i Möjliga problemlistan.

Sample Sentence Preview

A preview of the event sentence output is displayed in the Sample Sentence Preview box. Some sample data is used to fill in the [fields] in the sentence. This includes some names, dates, places, and descriptions. Since an event sentence output depends on where the event is used and what information is entered (or missing), there are some options you can use to test your sentence to see if the definition handles all the circumstances.

The first combo box lets you specifiy a Manlig händelse, Kvinnlig händelse eller en Äktenskapshändelset. Depending on your choice, this changes the sample information to a male name, a female name, or couple names.  When you change the setting, the sentence is redisplayed.

The second combo box lets you specifiy which of the sample fields have an entry in them.  There are eight combinations of filled and unfilled fields.  As you change the option, the sentence is redisplayed.

The sample data used to populate the fields when the preview is generated is read from a file called SampleData_xxxxx.txt that is in the [Mina dokument]\Legacy Family Tree\_AppData\Usr folder.  You can edit this file to change the sample data if you want to.  To easily edit the file, click the small blue button to the right of the second combo box. This will open the file in your default text editor program.

Filling in Default Sentences

If you are adding a new event and you want to prefill the sentences with a set of defaults, click the Reset button and choose Load default sentences.

Copying Sentences From Another Event

If you are adding a new event and you want to prefill the sentences from another existing event, click the Reset button and choose Load sentences from another event.  This displays the Select an Event window where you can select the name of an existing event from the list.  The eight event sentences from the selected event will then be filled into the fields.  You can then make any changes needed.
