Descendant Options
By default, all the spouses of the current individual will be included in the result group. If you want to select a particular spouse instead, click the Spouse button and select the desired person from the Spouse List.
Using the up and down arrows on the spin control, set the number of generations that you want to include. (You can also click the 10 or Max button to fill in 10 or 999 for the generation number.)
The Descendant Options screen is reached by clicking Descendants… on the Advanced Tagging screen. It is also reached by clicking on the Add an Individual and Descendants button on the Focus Group screen.
Descendants
Select this option to include all the descendants of the current individual. This includes each descendant's spouse(s). Any spouses of the current individual are also included.
Entire Descendant Line
Select this option to include every individual linked to the current individual starting on the descendant side. This includes each descendant's spouse(s). It also includes all the ancestors of the spouses and their descendants...anyone linked to anyone on the descendant side. (The ancestors of descendants will not come back up through the current individual.)
